Ghaziabad Crime News: In a heartbreaking incident in Tyodi village, Ghaziabad, a 10-year-old boy named Aad has lost his life after allegedly being beaten to death by his father, Naushad. The tragedy unfolded when Naushad suspected that Aad had stolen ₹500 from their home.

How did it happen?

On Saturday morning, when Naushad and Razia realized that the ₹500 was missing, they immediately pointed fingers at Aad. In a fit of rage, Naushad allegedly attacked his son with a 'phukni'—a metal blowpipe commonly used to tend to coal-based stoves. Eyewitnesses report that Naushad struck Aad multiple times before landing a fatal blow to the boy’s head.

Rahat Ali, a local resident, stated, "Naushad would beat up his son regularly. Today, he thrashed him because ₹500 went missing from the house, and the boy died. The man had made beating the child a habit." This disturbing revelation has raised alarms about the domestic abuse that Aad faced at home.

Ghaziabad police take action

Authorities became aware of the situation when Aad’s grandparents filed a police complaint. Ghaziabad Assistant Commissioner of Police Gyan Prakash Rai confirmed that Naushad and Razia have been taken into custody for their roles in this tragic incident. "We have been informed that the couple frequently beat their son, and a blowpipe was used in Saturday's assault. Further investigations are ongoing," Rai said.
