Arvind Kejriwal said voting for Congress in Goa makes no sense. He claimed Congress candidates eventually join the BJP after winning. According to him, even BJP knows this political pattern. That is why people’s demands are ignored. He said voters deserve respect, not deception. Kejriwal urged people to think carefully. He called AAP the only party that does not betray voters.
Kejriwal accused the Pramod Sawant government of running a “weekly extortion system.” He linked the Arpora nightclub fire tragedy to corruption. He said illegal clubs operate openly by paying bribes. Multiple departments allegedly receive weekly payments. According to him, corruption starts from the top. He claimed an honest government would never allow such disasters. Goa, he said, is paying the price.
Kejriwal said the Arpora nightclub lacked basic approvals. It had no occupancy certificate or licenses. Still, it operated freely. He questioned whether the Chief Minister was unaware. Locals told him bribes were paid regularly. Police, excise, and planning departments were named. He said this culture caused the tragedy. Victims, he added, deserve justice, not silence.
Kejriwal said big leaders do not even come to ask for votes. He questioned why Delhi leaders from BJP or Congress stayed away. He said elections are never small for voters. Every vote is precious. AAP values each voter’s dignity. He asked if people ever saw top leaders going door to door. According to him, AAP alone does grassroots politics.
Kejriwal highlighted Punjab’s record under AAP. He said 55,000 government jobs were given in three years. No bribes. No recommendations. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann personally handed appointment letters. Poor families benefited. He contrasted this with Goa’s unemployed youth. He said the same change is possible in Goa. The power, he stressed, lies with voters.
Kejriwal pointed to broken roads near the Chief Minister’s office. He said even the road outside the CM’s office is full of potholes. If that road cannot be fixed, how will others be. He demanded Pramod Sawant’s resignation. He said the government itself is stuck in potholes. Public infrastructure, he said, reflects leadership quality.
Kejriwal said AAP is not just a party. He called it a movement of honest people. He accused BJP of turning Goa into a state of fear. He cited cases of people being threatened for complaints. Ministers and MLAs, he claimed, intimidate citizens. Goa deserves better governance. He urged voters to unite. Change, he said, starts with one vote.
