A fire broke out in the Hisar Express near Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, leading to panic among passengers. The train was running from Rajasthan to Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh caught fire suddenly, which triggered an emergency response from railway officials to respond quickly.

Quick Response Prevents Bigger Danger

The flames began spreading quickly, causing concern for nearby trains. A Vande Bharat train running on a parallel track came to a safe stop before reaching the danger zone. The incident happened close to the Tirupati railway station, where fire engines were sent immediately to bring the situation under control.

So far there are no injuries reported, and fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. The cause of the fire is currently being looked into by authorities.

Another Fire Incident Near Chennai a Day Earlier

Just a day before this, on Sunday morning, a goods train carrying crude oil catches fire near Thiruvallur in Tamil Nadu. The train had 45 oil tankers and was travelling from Ennore in Chennai toward Mumbai.

The fire began around 5 am near the Egattur area when one of the tankers suddenly burst into flames. The fire quickly spread to nearby tankers, causing a massive blaze.

Train Services Affected on Chennai–Arakkonam Route

Large plumes of black smoke were seen rising from the area, leading officials to stop all train movement on the affected line. Firefighters and railway staff rushed to the site to handle the emergency.

As a result of the fire and rescue work, train operations on the busy Chennai–Arakkonam stretch were suspended temporarily. Several trains were delayed or cancelled, causing problems for morning commuters. Railway officials are working to restore normal service and are assessing the damage caused by the fire.
