Devendra says that after meeting him in the hotel, the girl also went shopping with him and they shared each other's number and Instagram ID. But as soon as he returned to India, the girl blocked him. Meanwhile, Vicky asked him to transfer ₹ 1500 to an Indian number with a QR code. Devendra sent the money thinking that it was help for a poor person. Devendra confessed that one day Vicky asked him for an Indian SIM card. This is where the agencies got suspicious and started investigating. At present, the SIM number is being investigated to find out who is using it.

On May 11, a security agent complained to the Guhla police station that Devendra was posting pictures of unlicensed weapons on Facebook. He was detained on May 13 and after two days of interrogation, evidence of sensitive information being sent to Pakistan was found from his phone. After this, Devendra was formally arrested.
