UP News: A heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, when the mutilated bodies of a woman and her 2-year-old daughter were discovered near Suriyava railway station. The victims were identified as Laxmi Bind and her daughter, whose deaths have left the community in shock. According to preliminary investigations, Laxmi’s last words to her husband, “I am going to die,” tragically came true when she took her own life and that of her innocent child.

Husband’s Vacation Turns into Nightmare

Laxmi’s husband, Virendra Bind, works in Gujarat and had returned home for the Diwali holiday. As his vacation ended, he prepared to return to Gujarat, but Laxmi expressed a strong desire to accompany him. Virendra, citing reasons, declined, leading to an argument between the couple. Heartbroken and feeling neglected, Laxmi left for her maternal home in anger. Virendra recounted his wife's last words to the police, saying, "Sir, I thought she was just upset and would return."

Laxmi’s Last Act of Despair

On Wednesday, Laxmi reportedly jumped in front of the Bapu Dham Express train traveling from Muzaffarpur to Prayagraj, taking her daughter along. Authorities confirmed it as a suicide and handed over the bodies to the grieving family after a post-mortem. The woman's husband, inconsolable during questioning, expressed deep regret, lamenting, “I have neither a wife nor a daughter. I wish I had taken her with me.”

Ongoing Investigation by Authorities

The police are investigating the case thoroughly, questioning Laxmi’s parents and examining every possible angle, even though it appears to be a case of suicide. The tragedy highlights the dire need for addressing mental health issues and fostering communication within families to prevent such devastating outcomes.
