New Delhi: Monsoon activities have become active once again in the second week of September. Its effect is being seen in many parts of the country. According to the latest bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in more than 21 states of the country on Wednesday, September 9. At many places, the rain may be accompanied by strong winds, thunder and lightning.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is changing due to western disturbances and cyclonic circulation formed in different parts. The rainy season is likely to continue in many states in the coming days also.

How will the weather be in Delhi today?

There is a possibility of cloudy sky in the national capital Delhi on Wednesday. Movement of clouds can be seen throughout the day and the intensity of sunlight will be less. At present there is no information about any major alert for Delhi. However, after the rains in the past few days, there has been a decrease in the temperature.

In which areas will it rain in UP?

Currently, it is sunny during the day in most parts of Uttar Pradesh, while the temperature is falling at night. The low pressure over the state has weakened, but the weather system has not completely dissipated.

Cyclonic circulation is active over East Uttar Pradesh and parts of Bihar. Due to its effect, there may be rain in many areas of Eastern UP in the coming days.

Why heavy rain alert in Bihar and Jharkhand?

Monsoon activities are likely to be quite active in Bihar on September 9. Due to the cyclonic circulation formed in eastern UP, heavy to very heavy rains may occur in many parts of the state. There has also been a warning of thunder and lightning in some areas.

The effect of monsoon is likely to be strong in Jharkhand also. There may be rain with strong winds in many districts.

How will the weather be in the hilly states?

Some parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may experience rain and thundershowers along with strong winds on September 9. However, the weather is likely to be more active on September 10. An alert of heavy to very heavy rain has been issued in many areas of Uttarakhand.

Where will it rain in South India?

There is a possibility of strong winds along with thunderstorms in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on Wednesday. There may be heavy rain in coastal areas. At the same time, in Kerala and Mahe, humidity along with heat can cause trouble. The Meteorological Department has also advised to be cautious in areas adjacent to the sea.
