Iran has decided to open its closed airspace especially for India for the evacuation of Indian students. This is a big and bold step taken for the emergency evacuation of students stranded in war-affected Iranian cities. It is also being called a victory of Indian diplomacy. At least 1,000 Indian students are expected to reach Delhi today under Operation Sindhu.
After Iran opened the air route, the first flight is going to land in New Delhi around 11:00 pm tonight. Students will come to Delhi in Iranian aircraft from Mashhad city of Iran. The second and third flights have been scheduled for Saturday. One of these aircraft will arrive in the morning and the other in the evening.
Let us tell you that a fierce war has been going on between Iran and Israel for the last eight days. During this time, both the countries are attacking each other with drones and missiles. Amidst the missile attacks, Iran has closed its airspace and most of the international flights are closed. Despite this, a special corridor has been arranged for the evacuation of Indian students. India launched 'Operation Sindhu' on Wednesday to evacuate Indian citizens from Iran.
Iranian Embassy officials in Delhi have said that some Indian students have been injured in the Israeli attack. All of them are in touch with the Iranian Foreign Ministry and the Indian Embassy in Tehran.
