BJP National President JP Nadda launched a scathing attack on AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday, accusing him of corruption and disrespecting voters from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Naddas remarks came in response to Kejriwals claims about fake voters in the upcoming New Delhi Legislative Assembly elections.Nadda: “Kejriwal Created a Disaster of Corruption”Taking to X, Nadda accused Kejriwal of misgovernance and corruption during his decade-long tenure in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal, who has been looting Delhi for the last 10 years by creating a disaster of corruption, is now fearing defeat. Out of desperation, he has resorted to making baseless allegations against our brothers and sisters from UP and Bihar, Nadda wrote.He added, By calling people from UP and Bihar fake voters, Kejriwal has insulted them. The people of Delhi will respond by uprooting him from power.AAP flags voter irregularitiesKejriwal and an AAP delegation met with the Election Commission on Thursday to highlight alleged irregularities in voter registrations for the New Delhi constituency. Kejriwal alleged a surge in voter applications, claiming over 13,000 new registrations in just 15 days.“Where are these voters coming from These are fake votes from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar,” Kejriwal claimed. He further accused BJP MP Parvesh Verma of corrupt practices, such as distributing money and organizing health camps, calling for his disqualification.BJP leaders fire backDelhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized Kejriwal for his remarks, accusing him of harboring disdain for Purvanchalis. The people of UP and Bihar have played a vital role in building Delhi. They will not forgive Kejriwals insult, Sachdeva said.BJP MP Manoj Tiwari also condemned Kejriwals statement, asserting, “Kejriwal and AAPs promises are fake. On February 5, Purvanchalis will ensure their voices are heard at the ballot box.”
