Tension in Kashipur After 'I Love Mohammad' Slogan, Bulldozer Action Creates Fear (Social Media)
National News:On Sunday night, an unauthorized procession shouting "I love Mohammad" was taken out in the Ali Khan neighborhood of Kashipur, sparking tension in the area. Following this incident, an attack on police personnel was also reported. The administration took swift action to bring the situation under control.
Police and municipal corporation teams have so far demolished more than 200 encroachments in the neighborhood. The documents of the houses of the accused are being examined, and strict action will be taken against those whose documents are found to be suspicious. On Tuesday alone, more than 60 people demolished their encroachments out of fear.
Police have registered a case against three named and 500 unidentified miscreants in this case. Based on CCTV and video footage, 12 miscreants have been identified, of whom seven have been arrested. The main accused, SP leader Nadeem Akhtar, has been sent to jail, while five others are still absconding.
Section 163 has been implemented in the locality, and the police are constantly raiding. According to sources, more than 100 people have escaped, leaving the house and hiding in places like Rampur, Moradabad, and Bijnor.
In addition, a Forest Department team also raided the neighborhood, seizing khair wood and soak pits. The Food Department verified ration cards, finding 83 ineligible and recommending their cancellation. The administration has clarified that no convict will be spared and strict action will be taken under the law. The administration is keeping an eye on the situation, and further action is being planned.
