Uttar Pradesh: The notorious Kanpur gangster Ajay Thakur was arrested after he had a viral video where he flaunted his power, featuring a convoy of 12 luxury vehicles. The video featured vehicles performing stunts and causing a commotion in the traffic, prompting criticism from all over social media, and Kanpur police responded immediately. Thakur was seen riding in a black Scorpio with his girlfriend, heading the convoy that passed near the DCP South Office, panicking bystanders.Police raid ends in high dramaWhen the police discovered that Thakur was hiding in the hideout, he threatened to commit suicide by jumping from the balcony. The officers arrested him, and he physically resisted them at one point, he even attacked the police with a brick. Finally, having lost all his other options, Thakur slammed his head against a brick and ran into the police station where the Barra police took him to jail. The viral video, shot at Nirala Park, depicts Thakur exhibiting his convoy in a circular motion, creating a threatening environment. His girlfriend was seen sitting alongside him in the lead vehicle she was sporting dark sunglasses.
