A shocking video has gone viral on social media, revealing a disturbing incident on the Amrapali Express, where a passenger was brutally assaulted by railway officials. The incident, which took place on the 15708 Amrapali Express, running between Amritsar and Katihar, shows the victim helplessly being beaten by the train’s Ticket Examiner (TTE) and a coach attendant.

Disturbing Visuals of Passenger Abuse

The video, which has since been shared widely, opens with a uniformed railway attendant pulling out a belt to strike the passenger. The victim, who appears to be caught off guard, is forced to lie on the floor of the train coach. While the TTE holds him down, the attendant continues to lash the man with the belt, hitting his back and hips. The abuse escalates with the two railway employees stamping on the man and kicking him repeatedly.

Verbal Abuses Add to the Brutality

The video also captures the aggressive verbal abuse hurled at the passenger by the rail attendant, who is heard using profanities during the assault. The incident left many online viewers appalled at the extreme misconduct displayed by the railway staff.

Public Outrage and Call for Action

The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with many social media users questioning the actions of the railway officials. “Are these railway employees or railway goons?” one user remarked. Others expressed disbelief at the severity of the assault and suggested that the Railway Police (RPF) should have been contacted to handle the situation. Calls for accountability have intensified, with users tagging Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, demanding immediate action.

As of now, Indian Railways has not issued an official statement regarding the incident, and authorities have yet to comment on the matter.
