Fire Breaks Out At Premanand Maharaj’s Flat In Vrindavan, Short Circuit Suspected

Mathura: There was chaos in Shri Krishna Sharanam Society located on Chhatikara Road of Vrindavan in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday morning when a sudden fire broke out in the flat of Sant Premanand Ji Maharaj. The fire broke out in flat number 212. In the initial investigation, short circuit is being considered as the cause of the fire. 

As soon as the fire broke out, smoke and flames started rising from the flat. The people present nearby immediately informed the police and fire department. The fire brigade team reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a lot of effort. It is a matter of relief that Premanand Maharaj was not present in the flat at the time of the incident. It is being said that he has been living in Shri Radhahit Kalikunj for the last one month, due to which there was no loss of life.

How was the fire controlled in time?

As soon as the fire department received information, the team reached the spot. The fire was limited in scope. Major loss was averted due to prompt action. No one was injured in this incident. The loss of life and property was also not confirmed. The administration heaved a sigh of relief.

According to eyewitnesses, an argument took place. There was also an altercation with the policemen on duty. There was an atmosphere of tension on the spot for some time. Braj residents say that they had come for help. But the behavior of the servants was not cooperative. People demanded fair action from the administration.
