Mumbai Bomb Threat: Astrologer Held in Noida, Claimed Lashkar-e-Jihadi Link

National News: A big conspiracy to spread terror on the day of Anant Chaturdashi in Mumbai was exposed within 24 hours. The Mumbai Police arrested the accused, who sent a threatening message from Noida. He has been identified as Ashwini Kumar Supra, who is originally a resident of Bihar and has been living in Noida for the last five years. Ashwini, who described herself as an astrologer, sent fake threats to the Mumbai Traffic Police to blow up from the bomb blasts in the city.

Threatening message sent on WhatsApp

A threatening message was sent to the official WhatsApp number of the Mumbai Traffic Police at around 2 pm on Thursday. The message claimed that human bombs have been installed in 34 vehicles, in which 400 kg of RDX has been used. The message also said that the whole of Mumbai will shake due to these blasts and about one crore people will be affected by it. Along with this, the accused, calling himself a member of the Pakistan-based terrorist organization 'Lashkar-e-Jihadi,' claimed that 14 terrorists have already entered Mumbai. Abusive language was also used against Mumbai Police in the message.

Raid in Noida 

As soon as the threatening message was received, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police came into action and took immediate action and started the process of tracing the source of the message. After investigation, the police team reached Noida and raided the Civitech Stadia Society located in Sector-79. It was from here that the accused Ashwini Kumar Supra was arrested.

Accused claimed to planted 34 human bombs

Mumbai Police said that Ashwini is being brought from Noida to Mumbai, where he will be questioned thoroughly. Police believe that during the interrogation it will be clear why the accused gave such a big false threat and what his real motive was behind it. The accused had claimed to have planted 400 kg of RDX and 34 human bombs. Described himself as a member of 'Lashkar-e-Jihadi.' Gave false information about 14 terrorists entering Mumbai.

Mumbai Police traced the location within 24 hours and arrested the accused from Noida. The accused is originally from Bihar and is an astrologer by profession. Due to the swift action of the Mumbai Police, this false threat was exposed within 24 hours. Now the focus of the investigation is on why the accused tried to spread panic by sending this message and whether anyone else is involved in this.
