Tied Rakhi, Then Strangled Sister: Chilling Double Murder Leaves Entire Community in Deep Shock

Crime News: A heartwrenchingcase of honor killing has come to light in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. It has created a sensation in the entire district. Jhansi police, while revealing the double murder case that happened recently, said that there is no external enemy behind this incident, but the real brother of the deceased girl. The brother, along with his friend, not only killed his sister's lover but also strangled his sister to death the very next day.

Youth Murdered Over Love Affair

The incident started on August 8, when the blood-soaked body of a 19-year-old youth was found on the riverbankin the Lahchura police station area. The police identified the body as Vishal Ahirwar, a resident of the Tahrauli police station area. Investigation revealed that Vishal's girlfriend's brother, Arvind, and his friend Prakash had taken him from home on the pretext of getting him a job.

Both of them took him to the riverbankin a deserted area of the Lahchura police station and stabbed him several times on the neck. Due to which Vishal died, and the accused fled, leaving his body there.

First tied a rakhi and then killed

The next day after the murder, i.e., on 9th August, the Raksha Bandhan festival was celebrated. The accused brother, Arvind, also tied a Rakhi to his sister, but on the same day he got the news of the death of her lover, Vishal.

The girl suspected that her brother was behind the murder. She talked about revealing this truth to everyone. On the pretext of convincing the brother, he took the sister to the hill of Chandrapura village and strangled her to death. He took the body a little far and threw it in the bushes and ran away.

Six-Month Secret Love Affair

Police investigation revealed that about six months ago, the deceased Vishal and the deceased girl had fled from the village due to their love affair. A case of this incident was registered in the Garautha police station.

Although later both of them returned, the girl's brother did not approve of this relationship at all. He was afraid of his reputation being tarnished in the village and society, and to save this reputation, he hatched a conspiracy of double murder.

Police Uncover Double Murder Plot

Jhansi's Senior Superintendent of Police BBGTS Murthy disclosed the whole matter in a press conference. He said that through technical and human intelligence, the police caught the accused brother and his accomplice. During interrogation, both of them confessed their crime and told the whole sequence of events. At present, action is being taken to send both the accused to jail.
