Haryana Assembly elections: Arvind Kejriwal, the National Convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), declared in a public rally on Saturday that no government in Haryana will be formed without the support of AAP. He made this statement while campaigning for Anurag Dhanda, AAP’s candidate for the Kalayat assembly constituency.

Kejriwal also spoke about his time in jail, accusing his political opponents of falsely imprisoning him to break his spirit. "They tried to crush me with false cases, withheld my medication, and tortured me, but they didn't realize I’m from Haryana—nobody can break a man from Haryana," he said. Despite the hardships, Kejriwal claimed to have emerged stronger.

Promises to Kalayat constituency

During his address, Kejriwal highlighted critical issues in the Kalayat constituency, including unemployment, lack of water supply, and inadequate infrastructure for women’s education. He pledged that if given a chance, his candidate, Anurag Dhanda, would address these long-standing issues. "If Dhanda fails, I won’t return here to ask for votes," he promised.

Kejriwal's connection to Haryana

Kejriwal took pride in his Haryana roots, recalling his journey from Bhiwani to becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi. "I’ve made Haryana proud on the global stage, and now I want a chance to serve my home state," he said. He also mentioned the groundbreaking reforms his party has implemented in Delhi and Punjab, especially in education and electricity.

Vision for Haryana's future

Kejriwal pointed out the poor condition of government schools in Haryana, contrasting them with Delhi’s reformed public education system. He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not providing free electricity in BJP-ruled states like Gujarat and Haryana. "We’ve done it in Delhi and Punjab, and only I can bring zero electricity bills to Haryana," Kejriwal asserted.

Confident in AAP's role in Haryana's elections

Wrapping up his speech, Kejriwal expressed confidence that AAP would play a significant role in forming the next government in Haryana. He assured voters that he would ensure the fulfillment of AAP's five key guarantees if they supported the party. "No government will be formed in Haryana without AAP, and ensuring the promises is my responsibility," he said.
