Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was injured on Saturday after a video showed her slipping inside a helicopter right after boarding the same in Durgapur.

Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee got injured on Saturday after she slipped and fell inside a helicopter in Durgapur. The incident happened when she walked up the movable stairs placed before the chopper. 

Bengal CM Banerjee fell inside helicopter

According to the information received, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee left for Asansol from Durgapur after some time. TMC sources said that her injury is not very serious and she will attend the party's election rally in Asansol. The TMC supremo was injured at her residence a few days ago. TMC leader had fallen while walking in her house, due to which her head was injured. She was immediately taken to SSKM Hospital for treatment, where he was also given stitches.

CM suffered serious injury

This incident comes just a month after the CM suffered a serious injury on her forehead after slipping at her residence. SSKM Hospital Director Dr. Manimoy Bandopadhyay had said in a statement that Mamata Banerjee was pushed by someone from behind, due to which she fell and was brought to the hospital with a cut mark on her forehead. Earlier, during the 2021 assembly elections, she had gone to campaign in Nandigram. During the scuffle in the crowd there, Mamata Banerjee's leg hit an iron pole and she got injured. TMC had called this incident outside a temple in Reyapara a part of BJP's conspiracy. At the same time, BJP had accused Mamata Banerjee of pretending to be injured to garner people's sympathy. The TMC supremo campaigned during the Bengal Assembly elections sitting on a wheel chair with his leg plastered.
