National News: Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar spoke amid the intense political debate surrounding 'Operation Sindoor,' the Indian Army’s mission to dismantle terrorist bases inside Pakistan. Jaishankar has made it clear that India neither signed any agreement during the operation nor gave any information first. Jaishankar clarified in the meeting of the Advisory Committee of Foreign Affairs of Parliament that Pakistan was informed about the action 30 minutes after the operation was over, and that too under a prescribed military process.

Sharp reaction to Congress allegations

The Congress party, especially Rahul Gandhi, had claimed that the information of Operation Sindoor was already given to Pakistan and described it as an "anti-national" step. Jaishankar reacted strictly and said, This is a deliberate distortion of facts. The allegation is both irresponsible and blatantly dishonest

He said that such statements hurt the morale of the Indian Army, while the truth is exactly the opposite.

Timeline of Operation: Every step under strategy

According to Jaishankar, at 1:30 pm, the foreign secretary was informed about the operation. Shortly thereafter, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) released an official statement to the public. The DGMO of India then informed the counterpart officer of Pakistan.
That is, there was no secret deal nor any pre-warning-only diplomatic process was played.

Success of Operation Sindoor: Answer to terrorist structure

The foreign minister said that some very important terrorist bases were accurately targeted in this operation. The army completely demolished all its goals, and Pakistan failed to protect its terrorist structure.

"Our actions were guided solely by the imperative to safeguard national security. The result was that the enemy's morale was badly broken."

America and International Role: India's clear trend

On the questions asked about the role of America in the ceasefire, Jaishankar made it clear that India had already informed the US and other countries. If Pakistan does not attack, India will also not respond. However, if provoked, India will respond firmly and without hesitation

This strategy shows balance in both diplomacy and defense.

"This is the time of politics, not of national interest."

At the conclusion of the meeting, Jaishankar urged all members of Parliament to unite, emphasizing that India remains unwavering in its zero-tolerance policy against terrorism. He stressed that this is not the time for blame games but for demonstrating national solidarity.

'Operation Sindoor' was not just a military action - it is a symbol of India's strategic self-reliance, military efficiency, and diplomatic clarity. S. Jaishankar's statement shows that India will no longer bow or stop under any circumstances, nor will it compromise the national interest.
