Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, in her affidavit for the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll, declared assets worth over Rs 12 crore. Among her assets, the most notable is her self-acquired property in Shimla, valued at Rs 5.63 crore. This residential property, located in Himachal Pradesh, has been prominently mentioned in her election documents, underscoring her personal investments.

Robert Vadra’s net worth at Rs 65.54 crore

In addition to her own assets, Priyanka Gandhi also disclosed the financial details of her husband, Robert Vadra. According to the affidavit, Vadra holds movable assets valued at over Rs 37.9 crore and immovable assets worth approximately Rs 27.64 crore. His total net worth thus stands at an impressive Rs 65.54 crore.

Priyanka’s income for 2023-2024

The financial details also revealed that Priyanka Gandhi earned over Rs 46.39 lakh in the financial year 2023-2024. Her income sources include rental earnings, interest from bank deposits, and other investments.

The affidavit further detailed Priyanka’s movable assets, which are worth over Rs 4.24 crore. These include investments in mutual funds, deposits across three bank accounts, and over 4,400 grams of gold, valued at Rs 1.15 crore. She also mentioned ownership of a Honda CRV car, a gift from her husband.

Educational background and liabilities

Priyanka holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies from the University of Sunderland and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from Delhi University. Her liabilities total just Rs 15 lakh.

FIRs against Priyanka Gandhi

Priyanka’s affidavit also includes details of two FIRs against her. One was filed in 2023 in Madhya Pradesh, accusing her of forgery and cheating. The other FIR, registered in 2020 in Uttar Pradesh, relates to her protest against the Hathras incident.
