Mumbai: In a dramatic move, Rohit Arya, who took several children hostage inside an acting studio in Mumbai, reportedly died after a police encounter. Identified as Rohit Arya, who had allegedly taken several children hostage inside Mumbai's RA Studio, reportedly died after police encounter. After sustaining a gunshot injuries, he was taken to the Jogeshwari Trauma Hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds.

As per the reports, all the children who were kept hostage by Rohit Arya. An official statement of joint commissioner of police Satyanarayan, said, ''All the children are safe.''
As per the initial details, Rohit Arya appeared to be mentally unstable and had also shared a video on the social media handle. In the video, he can be heard saying that he wanted to say that he wanted to speak to the few people that he was not seeking money. Reportedly, he had also given a threat to set the acting studio in Mumbai on fire in case his demands are not met.
Reportedly, Rohit Arya died in a hospital in Mumbai. According to the statement of Mumbai police, some chemical substance were also found with Rohit. During his treatement after the injury, he died.
It is to be noted here that on Thursday morning, Rohit, in an acting studio in Mumbai, with the intention of showing a web series called around 100 children.
In his video, Rohit Arya, said, “I am not a terrorist. I don’t want money; I just want simple conversations.”
It is to be mentioned here that at Powai Police got the information about the matter at around 1:30 pm. The Mumbai man had taken 17 children hostage at Mahavir Classic building, Powai.
