Mumbai: Sanjay Raut, Senior Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Rajya Sabha MP, announced that he is not doing well, on Friday. Sanjay Raut said that he will stay away from public events and functions for the upcoming two months due to sudden complications in his health.

What Sanjay Raut wrote in the letter to his party workers?

Sanjay Raut, in letter to the party workers and supporters, in Marathi, wrote that doctors have advised him to avoid any public events, and for some time. He took to his X and posted, “My health has taken a serious turn, and I am undergoing treatment. On medical advice, I cannot attend public gatherings for now. I am confident I will recover and meet you all again around the New Year.”

What was Sanjay Raut's recent plan?

He further added that his health has suddenly deteriorated and he is confident of his complete recovery. He also stated that he is hopeful that he would be completely fine by next year. Sanjay Raut is a significant figure of Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT).

He is known for his outspoken attitude and sharp statements against the BJP and allies. Sanjay Raut was likely to participate in the Opposition parties' protest against the Election Commission on November 1, but due to the sudden health issues, he was forced to step away for sometime from political activities.

What Sanjay Raut said about BJP?

It is to be noted here that on Tuesday, Sanjay Raut reacting to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks, said, "The BJP's politics has been running on crutches. It came to power in every state with the help of crutches, Nitish Kumar in Bihar, the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. When we contested polls with them in 1985, they didn't even have workers to paste posters in villages. Balasaheb asked us to take this party to every village because it is a pro-Hindutva party," Raut said, adding that "Shah was not even in politics then and does not know history."
