Two Cloudbursts Trigger Flash Floods In J&K's Doda, Roads Blocked (X)
Doda: Two cloudbursts triggered flash floods in parts of Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district on Wednesday, with the Kalalgisar area of Bhalesha among the worst affected. The heavy rain caused flash floods and landslides, blocking several roads.
The administration is monitoring the situation as heavy rainfall continues to lash across the region. An official said that heavy rains increase the possibility of landslides and blockages on the road. Debris has blocked roads and caused a break in communication with several villages.

Due of the flash floods and the amount of debris from both incidents, many villages in the Bhalesha area have lost communication. Officials said road repair work will begin only after the weather improves.

The administration has advised people in the area to avoid travelling where possible until the roads are open and to follow any directions provided by the authorities.
