The handover of powers under Amit Agrawal.

Bhuvnesh Kumar is inheriting the steps of Amit Agrawal who, in turn, has been promoted to the office of Secretary in the Department of Pharmaceuticals during December 2024. Really great time it has indeed been for him also as well as the organization under which he had been operating with him himself holding the reign while he was with UIDAI. The rest of the cyber law cases apart from UIDAI issues would make the organizational journey further with Bhuvnesh Kumar at the steering wheel.

Experience of Bhuvnesh Kumar

He graduated with a background of National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. With this background, experience lines on managing technology policies and digital transformation in the government come along. Cyber law and digital identity matters also add strength to his leadership capability as it strengthens the infrastructure behind Aadhaar.

Role in strategizing India's digital evolution

UIDAI issues Aadhaar numbers and maintains CIDR; in this regard, Bhuvnesh Kumar's leadership is much more crucial because the country is expanding its digital ecosystem.
