Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat on Wednesday. The meeting, which took place at the Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Nirala Nagar, is being described as a courtesy call. During the meeting, which lasted over half an hour, the Chief Minister and Sarsanghchalak discussed the political and social situation in the state. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister briefed him on the current political landscape as well as the government's work.

Which issues were discussed?

Discussions are also reportedly held regarding programs and future planning for the RSS's centenary year. However, this meeting is being considered very important in the current context. Assembly elections are due in Uttar Pradesh next year. Meanwhile, the RSS chief is also very active in Uttar Pradesh. Bhagwat arrived in Lucknow from Gorakhpur yesterday. Following a harmony meeting, a family conference, a youth dialogue, and a dialogue with prominent people, the Chief Minister met with the Chief Minister late in the evening. The two previously met in Ayodhya on November 26th, where they spoke privately for approximately 90 minutes. Before leaving on Thursday, Bhagwat will also meet with the city's pracharaks.

What did the RSS chief say?

Earlier, Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat attended a research scholar dialogue program held at the Malviya Auditorium of Lucknow University on Wednesday. He stated that education and health are basic needs. They cannot be businesses. Education and health should be accessible to all. He said that Westerners have tampered with education, replacing our education system with their own. What the British have done must be corrected. The Sangh's mission is to make the country prosperous. Instead of thinking that "I and my family are everything," we must think for the entire nation. The Sangh cares about the unity and quality of society. If you want to understand the Sangh, come inside and see for yourself. The Sangh cannot be understood by reading. The Sangh's sole purpose is to unite the entire Hindu society. The Sangh is not against anyone. The Sangh does not seek popularity, influence, or power.

Sarsanghchalak said that research plays a major role in changing India's direction and condition. Truthful facts should be brought to light. Ignorance will prevent us from understanding India. He urged researchers to conduct any research they do with excellence, authenticity, and selflessly for the country. He said that there is a lot of negative propaganda about the Sangh. Researchers should expose the truth.
