Bihar: After NDA's historic win in the Bihar elections 2025, Nitish Kumar took oath as the Bihar Chief Minister for the 10th term. After his oath ceremony at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna, he received congratulatory messages from various top leaders. Among the well wisher was Nitish Kumar's son, Nishant.

Nishant, who is 50 year old, mostly prefers to stay away from the limelight. Talking about National Democratic Alliance (NDA) victory in the Bihar elections, Nishant said that he had hoped for NDA's win but had not anticipated such a landslide victory.

After his father's historic victory in the Bihar election, Nishant congratulated his father and said, "I congratulate my father for taking the oath for the 10th time and express my gratitude to the people for ensuring our victory. I also thank God."

Talking at ANI, Nishant Kumar said, "Nitish Kumar has become the Chief Minister for the 10th time. I congratulate the people and the entire NDA family. We have fulfilled the promises before and we will do the same even now..."

Talking about Bihar's historic win, in an interview with NDTV, Nishant said, "I hoped that he would win, but people trusted us more than we expected. We won 43 seats last time, but my father kept working, and people supported him wholeheartedly this time. I thank them," Nishant told NDTV in an interview on 20 November on the sidelines of the oath-taking ceremony.''

Along with Nitish Kumar several other ministers took oath as Bihar's state minister. During the Nitish Kumar's oath ceremony in Patna, Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha also took the oath of office and secrecy among 26 ministers in the Nitish Kumar cabinet.
