Sports News: In his short two-year career, Yashasvi Jaiswal has already scored his seventh Test century. On the first day of the second Test against West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, he reached his hundred in 145 balls. After completing his half-century post-lunch, the left-handed batsman shifted gears and started scoring faster.

His calm nature and consistency in Test cricket make him stand out from his peers.

Enters special club of left-handed Indian openers

With this achievement, Jaiswal became only the fourth Indian left-handed opener to score 3,000 or more international runs. He now joins the elite list that includes Sourav Ganguly, Gautam Gambhir, and Shikhar Dhawan.

Missed place in Asia Cup and Australia tour

Despite his strong IPL performance and great form during the England tour, Yashasvi Jaiswal was not selected for India’s Asia Cup 2025 squad. He was also left out of the upcoming T20 series against Australia, a decision that surprised many of his fans.
