In an exciting main event match, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the uncontested WWE Universal Championship, making WWE WrestleMania 40 a historic occasion. Rhodes' triumph fulfilled a long-held desire and cemented his place in WWE history, making it a noteworthy accomplishment.

Cody makes it main event!

For the first time in history, Cody, a member of the Rhodes family, was able to confidently claim the title of WWE Champion. This achievement was especially significant because it eclipsed the legacy of Cody Rhodes's father, the late Dusty Rhodes, a WWE Hall of Famer. Upon his return to WWE, Cody has made a personal commitment to win the championship. It was not an easy road to triumph. Held under the harsh "Bloodline Rules," the main event required him to be extremely resilient. These regulations were a reaction to Cody and Seth Rollins' previous loss to Roman Reigns and The Rock on the opening night of WrestleMania 40.

The rules yet the turmoil

Once disqualification was ruled out, the championship bout saw a flurry of interferences after a remarkable exchange of one-on-one combat between Reigns and Cody. A thrilling element of turmoil was introduced by outside powers trying to influence the match's outcome. Jimmy Uso entered the ring to support Roman Reigns, becoming the first man to intervene. But as Jey left to balance the equation, Jimmy sprinted to the door and got into a fight with his brother. Then, to help the reeling Reigns, Solo Sikoa, another member of The Bloodline, charged into the ring. He struck Cody twice with Samoan spikes, but Cody was unaffected.

We all can see him this time with the people's champ!

John Cena's valiant comeback changed the tide once more. The throng was electrified by his appearance, which made Sikoa retreat. This new development even led The Rock back to the ring, where he attempted to support Reigns against Cody and Rollins, who reappeared as the theme from The Shield played in the background. With The Rock back in the mix, the match became a three-on-two, which appeared to favor The Bloodline.

Back from the dead!

But the biggest surprise of the evening was the appearance of retired WWE legend The Undertaker. He surprised everyone by showing up out of nowhere and giving The Rock a vicious chokeslam, which neutralized "The Final Boss" and gave Rhodes the upper hand. Taking advantage of this crucial moment, Cody executed three straight Cross-Rhodes maneuvers on a dazed Reigns, winning the pinfall battle after a very long match. The fans let out a loud cheer upon his victory, and the ring burst into celebration.

What a spectacle to witness!

Cody was surrounded by famous people, including Randy Orton, Sami Zayn, and John Cena, at the post-match party. It was a very special day for the American Nightmare as his family, including his mother, wife, and later WWE executive Paul Triple H, joined in the celebration.
