The match ended in a tie after 50 overs and went to a Super Over. Sri Lanka won that too. But the bigger story was what happened after the final ball. Sri Lanka's players started celebrating on the pitch and something clearly rubbed Vaibhav Suryavanshi the wrong way. He got into an argument with a Sri Lankan fielder. Suryaansh Shedge stepped in and pulled his teammate away. Suryavanshi did not look ready to walk off. Eventually both teams shook hands and the match ended. But the images of the heated exchange spread fast.

Where was the match?

Super Over Drama

What happened at the stadium?

Tensions flared after Sri Lanka A defeated India A, leading to a heated exchange on the field. As the Sri Lankan players began celebrating their victory, something appeared to upset Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who got involved in a confrontation with a Sri Lankan fielder. Harsh Dubey Shardul Shedge quickly stepped in and pulled his teammate away in an attempt to calm the situation. However, Vaibhav was still visibly angry and showed little interest in leaving the field immediately. The tense scenes continued for a few moments before the match officially came to an end.
