Unions say that the continuously increasing prices of petrol, diesel and CNG have broken the backs of drivers. In such a situation, it has become necessary to increase the fares.

Unions say there has been no major change in fares for the last several years, while fuel prices have been continuously increasing. Drivers say that it has become difficult to run a family at the current fare. For this reason, they have taken the decision of Chakka Jam to put pressure on the government.
