Going To Delhi Or Greater Noida Today? Check These Traffic Diversions And Alternative Routes

New Delhi: People traveling between Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida may face traffic problems on Friday, October 9. Gautam Budh Nagar Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the program of Kanshi Ram Parinirvan Diwas at the National Dalit Inspiration Site located in Sector-95, Noida. A large number of people are likely to attend the programme. In view of this, traffic will be diverted on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and surrounding roads. In such a situation, drivers travelling to and from Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida have been advised to get information about alternative routes before leaving home.

Why has traffic diversion been done in Noida?

A programme will be organised on the occasion of Kanshi Ram Parinirvan Diwas on October 9 at the National Dalit Prerna Sthal located in Sector-95, Noida. A large number of people are likely to participate in it. In view of the possibility of increase in traffic pressure during the programme, the traffic police have made arrangements for diversion on many major routes.

Police have appealed to drivers to use prescribed alternative routes and follow traffic rules. This can help in avoiding traffic jams.

Where should the vehicles coming from Delhi to Noida go?

Drivers travelling to and from Noida from Delhi, Chilla and DND will have to follow the advisory of the traffic police. Vehicles going to Delhi from Chilla border will be able to reach their destination from Sector-37 via Attapir intersection, Rajnigandha Chowk and Sector-15 roundabout.

At the same time, vehicles going towards Delhi from Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be able to go towards their destination via Charkha Roundabout via Gaurshala Roundabout.

What is the route for those coming to Noida from Greater Noida?

Due to increase in traffic pressure on the route from Greater Noida towards Noida on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, vehicles will be diverted from Mahamaya Flyover towards Sector-37. After this, vehicles will be able to go beyond Attapir intersection, Rajnigandha Chowk and Sector-15 roundabout.

Apart from this, if traffic is affected around gate number 04/05 of Dalit Prerna Sthal, vehicles will be sent from Filmcity flyover towards Sector-18. From here vehicles will be able to go towards Rajnigandha Chowk and Sector-15 roundabout.

In case of increased traffic pressure near DND and Filmcity flyover, diversion will be done from Sector-14A flyover towards Sector-15 roundabout. Drivers will be able to proceed from there via Rajnigandha Chowk, Attapir intersection and Sector-37.

Where will the vehicles coming to the programme be parked?

Separate parking spaces have been arranged for light vehicles participating in the programme. Vehicles coming from Delhi, Chilla and DND can be parked in the multilevel parking inside Film City.

Underground parking of Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal located in Sector-95 has been earmarked for light vehicles coming from Pari Chowk, Sector-37, Greater Noida West and Kalindi Kunj. Parking arrangements have been made near Sector-38A for vehicles coming from Sector-60 and Sector-18.

What arrangements will there be for emergency vehicles?

Those travelling between Delhi-Noida and Greater Noida are advised to leave with extra time, use alternative routes and follow the instructions of the traffic police deployed at the spot.
