UP Railway News: Train Routes Changed For Two Days, Check The Full List

UP: There is important news for railway passengers in Uttar Pradesh. The railway block will be taken on October 10 and 11 between Swami Narayan Chhapia and Mankapur station on Gorakhpur-Gonda railway section. During this period, non-interlocking work will be done for the commissioning of the automatic signalling system.

Due to this, changes have been made in the operation of many trains. Some trains will run on changed routes, while many passenger and MEMU trains will remain cancelled. CPRO Sumit Kumar of North Eastern Railway has given this information. In such a situation, passengers must check the status of their train before leaving home.

Why is the railway block being taken?

Automatic signaling system is to be commissioned between Swami Narayan Chhapia-Mankapur station on Gorakhpur-Gonda route of North Eastern Railway. To complete this work, non-interlocking work will be done on 10th and 11th October. Railways has decided to take block for this.

Earlier also a block was scheduled for the same work on 26th and 27th September, but it was cancelled due to unavoidable reasons. Now preparations have been made to complete this work again.

Which passenger and MEMU trains will be cancelled?

Due to the railway block, the operation of many trains running between Ayodhya, Mankapur, Gorakhpur and Gonda will be affected. On October 10, 64220 Ayodhya Cantt-Mankapur MEMU, 64223/64224 Mankapur-Ayodhya Dham Junction-Mankapur MEMU and 64217 Mankapur-Ayodhya Cantt MEMU will remain cancelled.

Apart from this, 55093 Gorakhpur-Gonda Passenger and 55091 Gonda-Sitapur City Passenger will not run on 10th and 11th October. At the same time, on October 11 and 12, 55094 Gonda-Gorakhpur passenger train and 55092 Sitapur City-Gonda passenger train will remain cancelled. 65115/65116 Bhatni-Ayodhya Dham Junction-Bhatni MEMU will also not operate on 10th October.

Routes of which trains including Varanasi Intercity changed?

On October 10, 14213 Varanasi Junction-Nepalganj Road Express will end its journey at Ayodhya Dham station only. On October 11, 14214 Nepalganj Road-Varanasi Junction Express will run from Ayodhya Dham. It will not operate between Nepalganj Road and Ayodhya Dham on this day.

At the same time, on October 10, 14233 Prayagraj Sangam-Mankapur Express will remain canceled between Ayodhya Cantt-Mankapur. On October 11, 14234 Mankapur-Prayagraj Sangam Express will depart from Ayodhya Cantt instead of Mankapur.

Which route will Amrit Bharat and other express trains run?

On October 10, 20103 LTT-Gorakhpur Express will run via Gonda-Badhani-Gorakhpur. On October 11, 22549 Gorakhpur-Prayagraj Junction Vande Bharat Express will operate via Mankapur-Gonda-Barabanki.

Apart from this, 14048 Delhi-Sitamarhi Amrit Bharat Express, 12565 Darbhanga-New Delhi Express, 15273 Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminal Express and 12556 Bathinda-Gorakhpur Express will also run on the changed route on the scheduled dates.

Railways has advised passengers to get information about their train status and scheduled route from the official website before travelling, so that they do not face any problem at the station.
