New Delhi: To further strengthen security arrangements in Northeast Delhi, police personnel took to the ground and stepped up vigilance in sensitive areas. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police-II Arvind Kumar visited the Welcome and New Usmanpur areas to review security arrangements at parks and other sensitive locations. During the visit, the police team conducted intensive checks and carried out foot patrols at various places.

The Additional DCP-II interacted with police personnel on the spot and took stock of security arrangements, patrolling and surveillance measures in the area. He directed officers to maintain heightened vigilance at sensitive locations and keep a close watch on suspicious activities.

During foot patrols in parks and surrounding areas, police personnel also assessed the local situation. Officers emphasised that regular monitoring and an effective police presence are essential to maintaining security in public places.

The field inspection by senior police officers also sent a message that security arrangements are not limited to police stations and offices, and that police are keeping a watch on places frequented by the public. Through regular checking and foot patrols in sensitive areas, police emphasised crime prevention and strengthening the sense of security among citizens.
