BJP’s Antyodaya Ideology Offers New Development Opportunities to Scheduled Caste Community: Sunil Indaura (Rimpi Jindal)
Ratia: A grand ceremony was organised at the Panchkamal office in Panchkula to mark Ajay Khundia's assumption of charge as the Haryana state president of the BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha. On the occasion, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and BJP state president Dr Archana Gupta formally entrusted Khundia with the new responsibility. BJP leaders and party workers welcomed him and extended their best wishes for his new role.
This information was shared with journalists by Sunil Indaura, Eminent Person at the CM Window, a member of the BJP district executive committee and state president of the Dhanak Samaj Utthan Sabha, Haryana. Congratulating Ajay Khundia on his appointment, Indaura expressed confidence that under his leadership, the Scheduled Caste Morcha would further strengthen the organisation and work to connect members of the community with the party's ideology.
Indaura said the core objective of the BJP's Antyodaya philosophy is to ensure that the benefits of development reach the person standing at the lowest rung of society. He stated that the Scheduled Caste community's trust in the BJP had continued to grow. According to him, the support the party has received since 2014 has played a significant role in bringing BJP governments to power at the Centre and in Haryana. He added that members of the community had supported the BJP, keeping in mind its development initiatives, good governance and public welfare policies.
Targeting the Congress, Sunil Indaura said the party had governed the country for decades with the support of the Scheduled Caste community but, in his view, had not done enough to promote the community's development or expand access to basic facilities. He claimed that this had led members of the community to lose faith in the Congress and increasingly associate themselves with the BJP's policies and programmes.
He said the Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had launched several schemes for the welfare of various sections of society, including Scheduled Castes. The BJP's objective, he added, was to ensure that government schemes reached those in need and that no one was deprived of basic amenities. He emphasised the need for continuous efforts to eradicate poverty, promote social equality and bring disadvantaged sections into the mainstream of development.
Praising Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's working style, Indaura said the Chief Minister remained easily accessible to the public and listened carefully to people's grievances. He noted that the warmth with which Saini interacted with people gave ordinary citizens an opportunity to express their concerns. He added that the Chief Minister's readiness to initiate action on issues after hearing grievances was an important aspect of his approach.
Indaura said the BJP's policies and principles were centred on public welfare and national interest. He urged people from all sections of society to familiarise themselves with government schemes and policies and play a positive role in the development of the country and the state.
Expressing confidence in Ajay Khundia's leadership, Indaura said the Scheduled Caste Morcha would accelerate its organisational activities, raise the concerns of people in need and play an important role in helping eligible beneficiaries access government welfare schemes.
BJP leaders and workers present at the event included Praveen Chandel, BJP district general secretary Vikas Laloda, Raghuvanshi, Chhinda Nangal, Sonu Chalia and Ram Mehar Dharsul, among others.
