Police Remove Black Film from Car on the Spot; Strict Action Warned Against Traffic Violations (By Rimpi Jindal)
Ratia: Fatehabad Police are taking strict action against motorists violating traffic rules as part of an ongoing campaign to ensure safe and smooth traffic movement across the district. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Nikita Khattar, IPS, the traffic police issued a challan to a car found using black film on its windows and had the film removed on the spot.
During a checking drive in Ratia, the Fatehabad Traffic Police found a car fitted with black film on its windows, in violation of prescribed rules. The vehicle was challaned in accordance with the law, and the police team removed the film from the windows at the spot.
The driver was also strictly instructed to comply with traffic regulations in the future.
The traffic police clarified that applying black film to vehicle windows in violation of prescribed standards constitutes a traffic rule violation. Such films can obstruct visibility into the vehicle and create potential safety concerns.
Police warned motorists that action against vehicles using unauthorised black films would continue in accordance with the law.
Superintendent of Police Nikita Khattar appealed to the public to follow traffic regulations, emphasising that these rules are designed to protect every citizen rather than simply prevent challans.
She urged motorists to ensure that their vehicle windows comply with prescribed standards and to remove any unauthorised black film themselves.
She also advised drivers to wear seat belts, observe speed limits and avoid using mobile phones while driving.
Khattar made it clear that road safety would not be compromised and that Fatehabad Police would continue special checking drives and issue challans to motorists who violate traffic rules.
Fatehabad Police have appealed to the public not to use illegal black films on vehicle windows, to follow traffic regulations and to make safe driving a habit.
