Bhopal: The case of a 33-year-old woman, Twisha Sharma, death under suspicious circumstances in Bhopal just five months after her marriage, has triggered serious allegations of harassment and domestic abuse by her family. While the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to investigate the case, the last Instagram chat of the victim has been doing rounds on the internet. 

What is there in the WhatsApp chats?

In the viral last WhatsApp chats between Twisha Sharma and her friend, the victim is sharing about feeling stuck, missing home and struggling to anything after marriage. 

In the chats, which dated May 7, Twisha, who is a originally from Noida in Uttar Pradesh, is also sharing about feeling anxious and uncertain about her life

"I have been under anxiety because I am sitting at home. I want to do something with my life. Shaadi makes your family, but you cannot stop working on yourself, for yourself regardless where you are," she wrote.

In the chats, Twisha also warned her friend against rushing into marriage, saying, "Shaadi ki khujli me shaadi mat karna. Soch samaj kar aage badhna. Filhal bas yahi kahungi. Call you sometime soon. (Don't rush into marriage just out of an urge to get married. Move ahead only after thinking it through carefully. For now, that's all I'd say.)

These leaked chats have surfaced after Twisha was found hanging at her husband's Samarth Singh's house in Bhopal's Katara Hills area on May 12. 

What is there in the Instagram chats?

The last Instagram chat between Twisha and her friend has been leaked on social media, further strengthening allegations of harassment.

Shortly before hanging herself, Twisha shared her ordeal with her friend, stating that, "I am trapped bro. Bas tu mat phasna. (I am trapped, bro. You just make sure you don't get stuck.) Can't talk much. I will call when the time is right," she wrote.

Her friend replied: "I am worried about you. I love you so much."

What does the chat indicate?

According to the chats, Twisha was going through immense mental and physical stress after marrying lawyer Samarth Singh, whom she had met through a dating app in 2024, and later the couple got married in December 2025.
