In Madhya Pradesh’s Agar Malwa district, a man was apprehended in connection with the murder of two youths for harassing his daughter, said an official citing preliminary investigation.

Man kills two youths for harassing his daughter in MP’s Malwa district

The police found the bodies of the two deceased put in sacks in an agricultural field in the district’s Batawada village under Kanad police station limits, almost 30 km from the Agar Malwa district headquarters, he said. The dead duo have been identified as Nandram Gurjar and Govind Gurjar.

Briefing about the incident, Superintendent of Police (SP) Santosh Kori said, “Police received information that the bodies of two young men, aged around 20-22 years, are hidden inside a room at the agricultural field owned by one Meharban Singh, a resident of Batawada village.”

How did Meharban execute his plan?

During the investigation, the accused, identified as Meharban Singh, revealed that two youths were harassing his daughter. On Saturday night, he rammed his four-wheeler into the motorcycle of the duo and when they fell, he took them to the agriculture field, the SP said.

Later, Singh beat up the two men with sticks, resulting in their death, he said.

Moreover, the wrecked motorcycle belonging to the victims and the accused’s four-wheeler were found close to the crime scene.

Case filed against accused, suspected accomplice

Police have detained Meharban Singh and trying to find out if anybody helped him in the crime. Meanwhile, a case has been lodged against the accused and his suspected accomplice, identified as Ishwar, under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Further, investigation is undergoing into this matter.
