Bulandshahr Controversy Erupts After Namaz At Hanuman Temple; FIR Filed Against Three (X)

Bulandshahr: A video of some workers offering namaz in the Hanuman temple complex in Olina village, located in the Aurangabad police station area of  Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, is going viral on social media. Police have filed an FIR against three people under relevant sections, and have filed charges against two for disturbing the peace and are investigating.

Where did the incident happen?

The video is from the village of Olina in Bulandshahr. According to the FIR filed, the house of village resident Rajkumar is under construction, where workers from the neighbouring village of Zahra were working. During lunch, some workers left to eat, while worker Asar Mohammad went to the Hanuman temple complex in front of the under-construction house. It is reported that due to a light drizzle, Asar Mohammad offered namaz there at Rajkumar's request. Asar Mohammad's companion, Nazar Mohammad, was also standing there.

Who made the video?

During this incident, someone made a video andshared it on social media, sparking anger among the villagers. Upon receiving information about the incident, Aurangabad Inspector Mohammad Aslam arrived at the scene with a police force and took Asar Mohammad into custody.

Later, registered an FIR under relevant sections against the accused, Asar Mohammad, Nazar Mohammad, and Rajkumar.

Police station in-charge Mohammad Aslam stated that the incident occurred on the May 31. Upon arriving at the scene, it was discovered that the workers involved had offered namaz, which angered members of the other community. Police took cognizance of the incident and filed an FIR. Peace prevails at the scene, and legal action is being taken.
