Exclusive: Bollywood Actress Bhagyashree Narrowly Escapes Road Accident (Prem Kaushik)
Mathura: Famous film actress Bhagyashree, who rose to popularity with the superhit romantic film "Maine Pyar Kiya" in the 1980s, narrowly escaped a road accident in Mathura on Sunday evening. The accident occurred while she was traveling from Delhi to Vrindavan to attend a private event.
Near GLA University on the National Highway, her car collided with a nilgai (blue bull) that suddenly appeared on the road, resulting in significant damage to the vehicle. Fortunately, Bhagyashree remained completely unharmed in the accident.
According to reports, film actress Bhagyashree was traveling from Delhi to Vrindavan to attend the annual function of Sanskar School in Mathura as the chief guest. Her Innova Crysta car, with registration number UP 85 CB 6021, was near GLA University when a nilgai suddenly crossed the road. In an attempt to avoid hitting the animal, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collide with the nilgai. The impact was so severe that the front of the car was badly damaged.
Upon receiving news of the accident, the organizers were alarmed. They immediately arranged for another vehicle to be sent to the scene, and Bhagyashree was safely transported to a luxury hotel in Vrindavan. Local residents also gathered at the accident site, and traffic was disrupted for some time.
When contacted for a reaction regarding the incident, Bhagyashree declined to comment. She is reportedly in good health.
