Rampur/Moradabad: On the second day of the Aam Aadmi Party's ‘Save the Vote, Save the Constitution’ march on Monday, the struggle and public support grew stronger. The six-day march, led by Aam Aadmi Party senior leader, Uttar Pradesh in-charge, and MP Sanjay Singh, began on Monday morning from JR Palace, near Ambedkar Park, opposite CRPF, Moradabad Road, Rampur.
As soon as the march reached Dalpatpur in Moradabad, the people of Moradabad gave Sanjay Singh a grand welcome. Wherever the march passed within the Moradabad district, it received immense public support. This march is a campaign to alert the public against the BJP's attempts to commit the biggest vote theft in Uttar Pradesh in the name of SIR, removing names from the voter list, depriving the poor, Dalits, backward classes, and minorities of their right to vote, and weakening the constitution.
During the march, Sanjay Singh said that before the elections in Uttar Pradesh, preparations are being made to manipulate the voter list on a large scale to influence the democratic process. Sanjay Singh said that voting is not just a right, but the greatest power of the people, and this power is being weakened by using the State Election Commission as a weapon. He clarified that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will expose this conspiracy in every district, every village, and every neighborhood.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that this fight is not against a single election or a single government, but a fight to protect the democratic rights of future generations. He said that if this attack on voting succeeds today, the voice of the people will be suppressed forever. Therefore, the Aam Aadmi Party is making the people the guardians of this fight, so that no government can tamper with the Constitution and the right to vote.
Sanjay Singh said that today, politics of distraction from serious issues is prevalent in the country. Instead of addressing issues like unemployment, inflation, farmers' problems, and the deplorable condition of schools and hospitals, politics of hatred and fear is being promoted. He reiterated that the Aam Aadmi Party practices politics of rights and development, not hatred, and upon coming to power, will prioritize education, health, and employment.
It is worth noting that the second day of the march progressed through various areas, engaging in direct dialogue with the public. The march reached Insha Garden, Chamora, near the railway crossing, Dalpatpur, Moradabad in the evening, where the participants rested for the night.
During the march, hundreds of workers, youth, women, and local citizens warmly welcomed Sanjay Singh at various locations along the way and joined the march, extending their support to this movement to save the vote and the Constitution.
