Vrindavan: These days questions are being raised regarding the matters related to Sant Premanand Maharaj's ashram in Vrindavan. After 17-year-old Anuj Choudhary went missing for almost three months, his family members staged a protest outside Radha Kelikunj Ashram on Friday. The family alleged that satisfactory information about the son was not being received from the people present in the ashram. However, after assurance from the police, the protest was ended in about eight hours.

What is the case of Anuj Chaudhary's disappearance?

Anuj Chaudhary, son of Rajveer Singh, resident of Baramai Kheda village in the Sadabad area of Hathras, is said to have been missing since July 3. According to the family, Anuj had taken initiation from Premanand Maharaj on June 26. A few days later, he left the house saying he was going to the ashram but did not return. The family says that he had been circling the ashram in search of his son for the last several weeks.

On Friday, the people of the village, including Anuj's parents, grandmother, aunt and sisters, reached outside the ashram and sat on strike. The family demanded the safe recovery of their son. Police officials reached the spot and talked to the family and assured them that the teenager would be searched. After this the protest ended late in the evening.

What was said by the Ashram?

According to reports, a seeker from the ashram also tried to talk to Anuj's family members in the presence of police officials. At the same time, in the report, it has been said that the Ashram has given assurance of all possible cooperation. The family, however, were not convinced until their son was found.

Anuj's father alleges that he kept getting assurances at different times about sending his son home or giving information about him, but he could not meet his son. The police are investigating these allegations.

Did information about other people also going missing come to light?

Meanwhile, the report has given information about two other people missing around the ashram. According to the report, Umesh Sinha, a resident of Sector-56, Noida, reached Vrindavan in search of his 38-year-old daughter, Vibha. The family says that Vibha had left home on August 15 to go to Premanand Maharaj's ashram, and after that she was not found. According to his father, a complaint has also been lodged with Noida Police in this regard. The same report also mentions the disappearance of Vansh, the 10-year-old son of Anita, a resident of Najafgarh. Anita works at a dhaba outside the ashram. According to her, she had gone to the village for a few days and left her son at the dhaba. On returning, the child was not found there.

Did the death of disciple Deepak also raise questions?

Earlier, the death of Premanand Maharaj's initiated disciple, Deepak Patel, alias Rasik Dulari Sharan, had also created discussion. According to reports, on September 25, Deepak had jumped from a four-storey building. Police are investigating the case as suicide, while questions have been raised by the family regarding some circumstances. Police are investigating the evidence and other aspects found at the incident site.

However, the connection between the cases of Anuj's disappearance, Vibha and Vansh, or any single reason behind them has not been confirmed yet. The situation will become clear only after the findings of the police investigation in these cases are revealed.
