‘Stop Playing With People’s Faith’: UP CM Yogi Adityanath Issues Strong Warning in Ram Mandir Case (X)
Lucknow: CM Yogi Adityanath has shown a strict attitude on the controversy over offerings in Ayodhya Ram temple. He clearly said that those who play with the faith of crores of Ram devotees will not be spared. Yogi appealed to the people to stay away from rumors and political statements. Be patient until the investigation is completed. Assured that SIT will conduct an impartial investigation and bring out the truth.
In a program in Ayodhya, CM Yogi said that the Ram temple is not just a building of stones. This is the belief of the breath of crores of people. Ram devotees waited and fought for this for 500 years. No one has the right to play with their feelings. Yogi bluntly said that if anyone has evidence of irregularities in offerings or donations, then instead of shouting on TV, give it directly to SIT. The investigation will be based on evidence, not on allegations.
Yogi said that the government has formed SIT only on the demand of the trust. The investigation is going on in a very transparent manner. As soon as the report comes, milk will turn into water. He warned that it is not right to reach conclusions before the investigation is completed. The government wants that whoever is guilty should get strict punishment as per the law. There is no escape.
A few days ago, questions were raised on the counting of offerings and accounting of money in the Ram temple. After this the government formed SIT. The team has interrogated the officials, employees and many people of the trust. Bank records, data of donated machines and CCTV footage are also being scrutinized. The investigating agencies are connecting the links one by one.
The opposition is cornering the government and the trust on this issue. Many leaders are demanding impartial investigation and action. On the other hand, CM Yogi retaliated. He said that opposition is tarnishing the image of Ayodhya. Unnecessary statements on such a sensitive issue hurt the sentiments of the devotees. Due to this the investigation can also go astray.
SIT is working fast. The report will be submitted to the government soon. CM Yogi assured that if any irregularities are found anywhere, no matter which position the culprit holds, he will not be spared. He has asked the public to maintain peace and have faith in the investigation. Only then will it become clear what the truth is.
