Uttar Pradesh: Nursing Student Found Dead At Boys' Hostel In Varanasi; Bleeding From Private Parts

Varanasi: A shocking incident has come to light from the Sarnath police station area of ​​Kashi. The body of a nursing student was found on the stairs of a boys' hostel. Some creams and medicines were found near the body. Additionally, the student was experiencing internal bleeding from her private parts.

An electrician working at the site spotted the body and, with the help of others, rushed her to the hospital. Upon arrival, doctors declared the student dead. Her father serves in the police department in Chandauli and is originally from Ballia. According to the Sarnath Station House Officer (SHO), no formal complaint has been received from the family yet. A case will be registered and further action taken once the post-mortem report is received.

What is the case?

The 19-year-old student, originally from Ballia, resided in the Sarnath police station area. She was a second-year nursing student at a college in the same locality. On Wednesday, she left home stating she was going to college with tiffin boxes for two people, but was later found unconscious on the stairs of the nursing college's boys' hostel. An electrician working there spotted her and alerted others. Medicines and a cream-like substance were found near the body. She was then rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead.

Did the Police conduct a post-mortem?

The Sarnath SHO stated that the body was sent for a post-mortem. Given the condition of the body and the internal bleeding from her private parts, the autopsy was conducted by a panel of two doctors. A young man studying at the same college has been taken into custody in connection with the case. He is a resident of Jaunpur and was previously acquainted with the student. After the post-mortem, the police handed the body over to the family, who have taken it to Ballia for the last rites. No formal complaint has been filed by the family so far. The police remain in constant contact with the family, and action will be taken by registering a case under serious charges, considering the condition of the body.
