Youth India Sankalp Yatra Held In Loni On Bhagat Singh Jayanti

Ghaziabad: A Youth India Sankalp Yatra was organised in Loni on Sunday to mark the birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh. Led by BJP youth leader Rahul Baisla, the march witnessed the participation of a large number of young people. The yatra conveyed a message of development in Loni and greater participation of the youth in the region.

The Youth India Sankalp Yatra began from Garhi Kataiya Park in Loni. From there, the youth procession covered a distance of around six kilometres before reaching Loni Number Two. Rahul Baisla participated in the march barefoot. A large number of youths walked alongside him and completed the journey.

The yatra concluded with the participants garlanding a portrait of Dr B.R. Ambedkar in Loni Number Two. During the event, the youth remembered Bhagat Singh’s ideas and his contribution to the nation.

The organisers said the yatra was held with the objective of connecting young people with social causes and the development of the area. Various development projects have previously been undertaken in Loni. In January 2026, MP Atul Garg and MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar inaugurated development works worth around Rs 5 crore in the area, including various roads and local infrastructure projects.

Yatra organiser Rahul Baisla described the event as a reflection of the voice and participation of young people in the development of Loni. A large number of youths took part in the march, and the entire route from Garhi Kataiya to Loni Number Two witnessed significant participation from young workers.
