Maharashtra Police in Friday have detained four people for alleged encouraging for the suicide of a man and his wife. According to the sources, the victims brother chopped off his own finger on camera to protest the slow pace in the probe.According to the information, Nandkumar Nanavare and his wife Ujjwala Nanavare allegedly died by suicide by jumping from the terrace of their house at Ulhasnagar in Thane district on August 1.Now, on the basis of the suicide note, police have arrested four accused in connection with the case. They have been identified as Kamlesh Nikam, Naresh Gaikwad, Ganpati Kamble and Shashikant Sathe. But the accused got arrested after the victims brother Dhananjay Nanavare chopped off his finger with a dagger near Phaltan Town in Satara district.The video shows that Dhananjay is depressed of not getting justice. In the viral video, he can be heard saying, “My brother and sister-in-law committed suicide on August 1 already 18 days passed but there is no police action. We are consistently being pressured not to pursue the matter. Its been just a week since we were assigned this case. The investigation is underway.”
