Over 1.4 Crore Downloads For New Aadhaar App, Users Can Now Update Details From Home

New Delhi: The new Aadhaar app of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has received huge public support across the country in less than a month of its launch. According to official figures, till now about 1.4 crore downloads have been registered across the country, which makes it clear that people want to do their Aadhaar related work easily and securely on mobile. The application is available on both Android and iOS platforms and is getting an average of more than one lakh downloads every day.

The new Aadhaar app has been specially designed with the aim that now users do not need to run to the Aadhaar center. • Submit it; You will get a Service Request Number (SRN) which you can track later.
• After official verification in a few days, your updating work will be completed.

Is this app just for Number-Address Update Limited?

The new app is not limited to just updating. It also lets users keep a digital Aadhaar, share it, and provide offline and online identification in situations like job, bank, hospital or travel. Up to five Aadhaar profiles of a family can be linked on a single device, thereby realizing the concept of “One Family – One App”.
