Amazon's quick commerce push: Pocketing customers like Blinkit & Zepto?
Inflation is 'hitting' from everywhere, Amazon has now decided to impose marketplace fees, giving a strong blow to customers. Prime members are unhappy with Amazon's decision, it would not be wrong to say that Amazon has also gone the way of Blinkit and Zepto. These platforms are already charging money on customers in the name of additional fees. To give customers a better experience, Amazon has decided to impose fees.
Now the company will charge you a marketplace fee of Rs 5 on every order. This fee will be applicable to every customer, whether it is a prime member or any other customer, everyone will have to pay a charge, but at the moment there are some products that are excluded from the scope of this fee.
Amazon has informed that if you cancel the order before shipment, the marketplace fee will be refunded in full. Amazon has tried to explain by giving an example, suppose you order 500 rupees, in which there are two items worth 100 rupees and 400 rupees. If you cancel the product of 100 rupees, then in this case only 1 rupee will be refunded to your Amazon Pay Wallet.
