Redmi Note 15 Pro+ May Launch with Satellite Communication — A First for Redmi Phones

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is likely to launch soon as a newer and better version of the Note 14 Pro+ 5G. A new leak suggests that this new high-end Redmi phone might include satellite communication, a feature usually found only in premium models. If this is confirmed, it will be the first Redmi phone to include this kind of technology.

Other earlier leaks have also given hints about the camera, screen, and battery. However, there is no official word yet on when the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be launched.

Satellite Support on Redmi Note 15 Pro+

A phone with the model number 25104RADAC was recently spotted on China’s MIIT website, according to tipster WhyLab on Weibo. The listing suggests that the phone might support Beidou’s short message satellite feature. If confirmed, the Note 15 Pro+ would become the first Redmi phone with this type of connection.

Another well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, also posted on Weibo saying the phone will come with several high-end features. It is also said to have an eye-catching design.

Expected Specs of Note 15 Pro+

A leak says that the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ might have a curved 1.5K screen and use a Snapdragon 7s series processor. The phone is also expected to have a large 7,000mAh battery and two back cameras. These may include a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.

The older model, Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G, has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is very bright at 3,000 nits. It is also water and dust resistant (IP68) and has a 6,200mAh battery with 90W fast charging. For photos, it includes a 50MP Light Hunter 800 main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom. There’s also a 20MP front camera for selfies.
