Relationships often involve shared expenses, but when they end, those expenses can become contentious. One recent breakup highlights this dramatically. A chartered accountant, Aditya, sent his ex-girlfriend a detailed bill for all the expenses he incurred during their relationship, demanding repayment down to the last coffee and including GST!

Girlfriend's Friend Reveals the Shocking Details

The story came to light when a Twitter user shared images and details of what happened to their roommate. The roommate had dated Aditya, who, after their breakup, compiled a meticulous account of all expenses in an Excel sheet. The list included costs for cigarettes, coffee, cab fares, movie tickets, parties, shopping, and even stationery. Aditya, it seems, had kept every bill and even opted for cash-on-delivery for gifts to maintain a record.

Post-Breakup Invoice Sent

In the shared Excel sheet, Aditya documented expenses over seven months. He demanded repayment for a total of over 1 lakh rupees, of which more than 51 thousand rupees were attributed to the girl. After adding 18% GST, the total bill came to 60 thousand rupees. He even offered an EMI option but imposed a 4% interest rate on it.

Viral Post Sparks Outrage and Amusement

The tweet detailing this unusual demand quickly went viral, garnering 1.3 million views and numerous reactions. Many commenters expressed disbelief and amusement. One user wondered how her friend had dated such a person, while another joked that the girlfriend must have fainted upon seeing the Excel sheet. Some even found the inclusion of an EMI option tear-inducing.

An Unusual Tale of Breakup and Billing

This extraordinary story serves as a cautionary tale about the potential financial pitfalls of relationships. It also highlights the meticulous nature of Aditya, whose profession as a chartered accountant clearly influenced his approach to personal expenses. Whether viewed with shock, amusement, or horror, this breakup bill has certainly captured the internet's attention.
