It is being claimed that a passenger plane" Pan Am Flight 914" which disappeared in 1955, suddenly returned to Venezuela in 1992 after about 37 years. It is also added to the story that all the passengers of the plane were alive, and they did not even realize that decades had passed.
Allegedly, on July 2, 1955, Pan Am Flight 914 going from New York to Miami, suddenly disappeared from the radar. There were 57 passengers and crew on board. No one knew where the plane went. There was a search, but no clue was found. Then it was said that in 1992 the same plane suddenly landed at Caracas Airport in Venezuela. the pilot was nervous, the passengers were also surprised, and everyone felt that they had flown for just a few hours.
According to the stories, the plane stopped for a few minutes and then suddenly took off in the direction of Miami. The story says that when the ground staff looked inside the cabin, all the seats were full and there was no change in the age of the passengers.
This story created a stir around the world, but when journalists and fact-checkers investigated it, the truth turned out to be something else. This whole story is a story fabricated by an American tabloid, 'Weekly World News,' which is notorious for publishing sensational and fabricated news.
Fact-check website Snopes and AFP confirmed that no such plane was ever recorded in the records of Pan Am Airlines. Neither such a flight number was run in 1955 nor any such incident was recorded in any official flight list of Venezuela.
The story of 'Flight 914 Time Travel' is shown repeatedly on YouTube channels and Facebook and Instagram reels. Some videos even show blurred pictures of passengers coming out of the plane, while experts believe that those pictures have also been created using Photoshop.
This story is still frequently used today to fuel fictional concepts such as "time travel," "wormholes," and "the multiverse."
The story of Flight 914 may seem thrilling and cinematic, but in reality it is just a fictional legend. In this world of the Internet, not every story is true. It is important that we fact-check and ask ourselves: Are we considering a film script as news?
