Pakistani fast bowlers Mohammad Amir, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Shaheen Shah Afridi are among those in the program. The PCB reappointed Babar Azam as white-ball skipper on Sunday in an attempt to bring the squad back on track for the Twenty20 World Cup this year.

After Pakistan's crushing defeat in the first round of the 50-over World Cup in India in November, Azam tendered his resignation as captain of all formats.As per the ruling of the reconstituted seven-member selection committee a week ago, Azam has replaced Shaheen Shah Afridi. 

T20 and Pakistan 

Following his resignation, Shaheen took over as Twenty20 International captain and Shan Masood as Test captain. Shaheen only managed one T20I series, a 1-4 loss in New Zealand in January.Pakistan's schedule for the T20 World Cup in the United States and the West Indies includes five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against New Zealand at home, two in Ireland, and four in England.
