PM Puducherry Visit: Modi to Arrive for Election Campaign (X @airnewsalerts)
Puducherry: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled arrive in Puducherry today to participate in the election campaign. As per the reports, PM Modi will hold a roadshow and address party workers as well as the public.
As per the reports, PM Modi will reach at Puducherry airport at around 4:15 pm. After that, PM Modi will head to the Ajanta Signal junction, from where he will start his roadshow. PM Modi's roadshow in the poll bound Puducherry will proceed through a stretch of about 1.2 kilometres in Anna Salai. PM will end his roadshow near the Kamarajar statue. Along with PM Modi, NDA leaders and party members will also participate in the roadshow. PM Modi will interact with party workers and supporters along the route.
Ahead of PM Modi's visit, tight security arrangements have been done in the area. As many as 30,000 people are expected to participate in the event. Around 1,000 police personnel have been deployed, along with paramilitary forces for election duty.
A spokesperson of the Puducherry BJP, a constituent of the AINRC-led NDA, said the Prime Minister would take part in the 2-km long road show, beginning from the Ajanta signal here to Anna square in Odian Salai, reported PTI.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Puducherry on April 3 to hold a road show, aiming to galvanise support for the NDA candidates ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls.

PM Modi is expected to land at the airport here from Chennai at 4 pm on April 3. He will drive to Puducherry town from the airport and hold the road show, as per PTI.
